On National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, the Fab 5 from Netflix’s “Queer Eye” worked their magic on a 3-year-old shelter dog from NYC named Lacey.
Lacey had been saved from a kill shelter in Tennessee and brought to NYC by North Shore Animal League America. The Fab 5 were determined to give Lacey a makeover and get her a forever home.
They taught her how to make dog-friendly cookies, taught the shelter volunteers how to groom her blonde coat, boosted her self-esteem and gave her plenty of chic accessories and treats.
After giving Lacey her day in the spotlight, they also covered her adoption fees. She had found her forever home quickly after her day with the Fab 5.
