Gritty has taken over the NHL world as a new meme and mascot for the Philadelphia Flyers. This new muppet-like creature has been making waves due to his unsettling appearance, but Philly fans have grown to love him and now defend his honor.
In true Philly fashion, a local restaurant has named a sandwich after him. That in itself is not anything bizarre, but the concoction that they created is what nightmares are made of.

This is a “Crispy Cheeto-crusted chicken breast, melted cheddar cheese and cheddar ranch on a toasted brioche roll topped with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and choice of tots, fries or side salad.”
The chicken breast is crusted in crushed Cheeto’s, while cheddar comes in the form of melted cheese and ranch all the while it’s topped with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos? We’re not sure who would find this appealing, but only a true daredevil and Philly fan would try this out.
The poster is a correspondent of the NHL team and writes tweets for their Twitter account. Of course, he had to go check the sandwich out for himself but made it very clear:
