In yet another smart business strategy by Taylor Swift and her team, the pop star has filed to trademark her newest felines name.
Court documents for the trademark were obtained by TMZ revealing that she applied for the trademark, “Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin Swift.” This would allow for her to profit from a line of merchandise with the names and face of her famous felines.
Her other two cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, each Scottish Folds, already have their own merchandise, so it would only make sense that she includes her third and newest kitten to the merch crew.
In 2018 she sold coin purses, necklaces, and pajamas, with Meredith and Olivia’s likeness on her website and at her “Reputation” tour. With a new album coming out in August, this is the perfect opportunity to sell some Benjamin-faced t-shirts.
