Twins are rare enough as it is, monochorionic twins, or those that share the same placenta, incredibly more so. But, Monochorionic-Monoamniotic twins are even much rarer. Not only do these twins share the same placenta, but they also share the same amniotic sac. The sac is a bag where babies grow inside its mother’s womb, and while most twins have their own sacs, MoMo twins share as they were formed of the same egg together.
