Mariah Carey and Other Celebs Are Trying the Viral Bottle Cap Challenge

Every few months, a new viral online challenge captures the attention of people across the world. In this case, the Bottle Cap Challenge. Mariah Carey spotted the trending Bottle Cap Challenge and decided to put her own signature diva spin on the trend, deciding to sing instead of kick.

The challenge is to kick a bottle cap off the bottle without it falling over. The cap is loosely twisted shut, but still able to be done, as seen in the initial viral video that started it all. The idea can be traced back to UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway.

From there, stars like John Mayer and Jason Statham gave the challenge their best kick, both doing the task surprisingly well. Regular online users gave it a try too, adding jumps, twists and turns to make the kick even more impressive.
