Apparently, there is a gap in the market for punk rock straight edge beverages, and now, that gap has recently been filled.
Behold, “Liquid Death,” the punk rock canned water you never knew you needed.
Mike Cessario, the man behind the madness, got $1.6m in a seed funding round bringing the company’s total funding to $2.25m.
The can features a label with a golden skull and a tagline that reads “Murder your thirst.” Not sold yet? The aluminum can is also a more environmentally friendly option than plastic bottled water.
Liquid Death is, quite simply, water sourced and canned in the Alps. If that’s punk rock, then so is Taylor Swift.
