Life Hacks That Actually Work

Pool Noodle Bumpers

Placing the pool noodle at the edge of the bed underneath the fitted sheet will gently guide your kid back into the center of the bed while they're asleep. No more bumps (and cries) in the night.

The More You Know

  • Air fryers don’t always produce that golden hue we crave. You can fix that, though! The secret to that perfect golden color is giving your foods a quick spritz of cooking spray before popping them into the air fryer basket.
  • To keep your pot from boiling over, put a wooden spoon over the top of it. If it starts to boil up too high, the spoon will pop the bubbles and keep it from overflowing quickly.
  • Run hot water down the drain for a minute, and then sprinkle 1 cup of baking soda down the drain. Slowly pour 1 cup of vinegar down the drain. Flush one more time with hot or boiling water.
