Hey Now, Hey Now, We're Getting a Lizzie McGuire Reboot

This is truly what dreams are made of. Fans of the OG Disney series "Lizzie McGuire" will be thrilled to find out that the show is getting a reboot on Disney+ that follows almost all of the original cast members through their early 30s.

Hilary Duff shared that Adam Lamberg, who played Gordo, will rejoin the cast, and the title of the first episode is called "13 Going on 30."

The show is "coming soon," and the release date of the series is expected in 2020. Production began in October 2019, however, so fans are unlikely to see the show until summer 2020.

The Disney+ page shared a video of Duff walking through the set and sharing some insider info on the cast and crew, which is enough to make every 2000s kid giddy.

The cast includes many familiar faces. Lizzie's parents, her brother, and the original series creator are also coming back to take the reins.

On Lizzie's love life, and whether or not Gordo and Lizzie would finally get together, Duff told Vulture: "I feel like them not being together is what was so good ... it's that one person that you're like, 'Was he the one? Is it ever going to be?' You're always kind of wondering."
