A 2-year-old boy has found an unlikely friend lingering on the other side of his backyard fence: A neighboring golden retriever. Little Conway somehow found out that his neighbor’s dog loves to play fetch and took advantage of that new knowledge! Conway’s dad, photojournalist Chad Nelson, says that the two played for over a half-hour that day.
In response to the critics saying that the parents should get the kid his own dog, Nelson replies that they actually have two already! “They don’t play fetch though. Haha.”

Less bitter twitter users were enamored by the friendship that these two had. The dog was so happy and eager to get that ball back over the fence just as Conway as excited to throw it over to him. We love a wholesome friendship!
