Enjoy a Romantic Getaway in a Potato in Idaho

Potatoes are extremely versatile vegetables. From French fries to mashed potatoes, to hash browns and potato gnocchi, there’s truly nothing this vegetable can’t transform itself into.

And now, to add another feat of the potato to the list, in South Boise, Idaho you can now stay overnight inside of a potato. You read that right—The Big Idaho Potato Hotel is a real thing.

If you’re a fan of spuds, you can book a night inside this potato hotel on AirBnB.

The 6-ton structure, though, isn’t actually made of potato, but the thought is there.

Amidst a huge field in the Owyhee Mountains in South Boise, this sweet little spud is stylish and chic.

The potato sleeps two, with a queen bed, a small bathroom, a kitchenette, a fireplace, and air-conditioning. With lots of house plants and fancy pink decor this AirBnB is an Instagrammer’s dream.

It costs $200 a night plus service and taxes bring the place to $247 a night—that’s one hot potato.
