Chris Pratt just can't let go of his goofy comedic chops. The actor was supposed to just hold out the orb for one specific scene but got butterfingers and dropped it on the ground. He didn't break character though, and Peter kept on talking like nothing had happened. The director liked how funny and relatable it made the hero seems, so he decided to keep it in the final cut.
