Aussie band 5 Seconds of Summer released a new single Thursday and fans are already blasting the song through their speakers. The song, “Easier”, comes with a dark music video featuring the band playing in a cave.
5sos always know how to perfectly blend what's current with who they are as musicians and it's damn good. @5sos congrats on the new song— Lij Gilmour (@LijGilmour) May 23, 2019
Some fans are calling it a rebrand, as the band originally marketed themselves as an edgy pop-punk band. The four members then toured with One Direction and began taking a more pop sound. Recently they teamed up with The Chainsmokers for their single, “Who Do You Love?”.

“Easier” is a taste of the group’s new upcoming album, which they promise is better and edgier than any of their past albums. Fans are on the edge of their seats for the release date, but at least they have this song to jam to while they wait.
