While tiger's are large, ferocious beasts, typically, humans don't really ever come in close contact with them. Zookeeper's, on the other hand, are around these large cats more often. At a Kansas zoo, a keeper was put in danger when a lock mechanism wasn't properly locked and the sumatran tiger lunged at her. Thankfully, she survived the ordeal.
