It's not uncommon for snakes to make their way into the plumbing of desert homes when temperatures cool off. Because they're cold-blooded the pipes serve as a bit of insulation, and so these snakes, sometimes venomous, will take refuge in the plumbing or unused vacation homes. Let this be a warning!
