Totally Insane and Dangerous Wild Animal Encounters

A Close Encounter

While working in the Amazon, one man was face to face with a Jaguar...

"...we had to sleep in trees during the rainy season...Woke up one night to the sound of my bug netting getting torn. The other rangers had insisted I sleep with my machete in the hammock and I had laughed at them but followed their advice...A Jaguar was pawing at us from the branch above and we held out our machetes to keep it away. We didn’t want to hurt it but we also didn’t want a killing machine dropping into our hammocks. It eventually stalked off after getting its paws pricked a few times."
