Paramedics Arrive
It wasn't long after Ed's call that the emergency medical team arrived at the scene. Donna described her medical professionals as "perfectly calm and totally focused," which was pretty good considering what she was going through. A medical helicopter was ultimately called to whisk Donna away from the scene and to receive serious medical attention at a nearby hospital.
