Bigger Spleens
Part of the discoveries that were made in the 2018 biological study of the Bajau Laut tribe indicated that those who are freedivers have enlarged spleens that function similarly to that of seals. These enlarged spleens take the place of the kidneys in the pelvis, as the Bajau Laut tribe has evolved to have smaller kidneys than the average person.
