Marketing the Discovery
Ever since Dr. Osmanagic started to credit his discovery, the tourist economy in Bosnia has been booming. Journalists have called the phenomenon “pyramid fever.” Souvenir stands litter the downtown areas and sell pyramid emblazoned t-shirts and hats, local restaurants serve pyramid themed dishes on plates made to look like pyramids, and coffee shops hand out packets of sugar stamped with pyramid designs, all because of Dr. Osmanagic’s theories.
