Jack Nicholson improvised this line from A Few Good Men. His character, Colonel Nathan Jessup is being interrogated by Tom Cruise's character, Lieutenant Daniel Kaffee, in an intense courtroom scene. When Cruise says, "I want the truth!" Nicholson didn't think the original line, "You already have the truth!" was powerful enough.
