His tenure as the lead singer of Aerosmith has yet to end, and in an era when you’re contending against bands like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, and Steely Dan, you have to make yourself stand out somehow. Steven Tyler embodied the rock and roll spirit—he literally lived “sex, drugs, and rock and roll” for the majority of his life until his health demanded he stopped.
