These Iconic Songwriters Made Insane Fortunes

Kasey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, and Billie Eilish credit Shania Twain as a huge influence, and her impact push even deeper than just country. In 2017, Shania Twain’s album “Now” reached #1 on the Billboard charts in America and Canada within a week of its release. All of this has led to Twain picking up $400 million in her career, likely with much more profit to come in the future.

Barbra Streisand ($400 million)

Streisand was born in Brooklyn, New York to an affluent family of artists. She originally started singing in late night clubs, with her parent’s permission of course and developed a reputation as a phenomenal parlor singer. She was featured on The Tonight Show in the 1960s and performed in Broadway musicals. It wasn’t until later in Steisand’s career that she decided to dig deeper and write her own music, which immediately blew up and started her on a straight path to the top.
