For those of us with a true-crime itch we just can’t seem to scratch, true crime podcasts might be able to satisfy your inner sleuth. From unsolved murders to missing persons to the just plain bizarre, these podcasts are essential listening for any crime buff.

Serial

Serial is the podcast that started it all. The first season focuses on the 1999 disappearance and murder of high school senior Hae Min Lee, as well as the subsequent conviction of her classmate and ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed. The podcast’s tremendous success even led to a spinoff called Undisclosed which follows Syed’s pleas for innocence.
