Michael had an affinity for children's stories, but none more so than Peter Pan. The legend of the boy who never grew up was a recurring theme at the mansion. It was the origin of the eponymous ranch title and several sculptures surrounding the place. The first time Jackson ever saw the ranch was when Paul McCartney was shooting a music video there.
