During this 2005 sleeper hit, George Clooney suffered injuries so horrific that he still feels the effects 15 years later. Clooney fell on his head backward out of a chair during a torture scene in this movie, cracking open his skull and breaking his spine. Clooney was so terribly injured that spinal fluid actually flowed out of his nose on the way to the hospital. Evidently, the pain was so bad that Clooney still goes to therapy for it to this day.

The More You Know

  • For Dr. Strangelove, Peter Sellers was paid $1 million, 55 percent of the film’s budget.
  • In the movie 'The Hangover', no effects or prosthetics were created for Stu's missing tooth. Actor Ed Helms never had an adult incisor grow, and his fake incisor was taken out for the parts of filming where Stu's tooth is missing.
  • That slightly scandalous charcoal drawing of a topless Kate Winslet in Titanic was drawn by none other than the director himself, James Cameron.
  • Natalie Portman dislocated her rib while shooting Black Swan and had to give up her trailer so the low budget film could afford a medic for the rest of shooting.
