This 1986 film was arguably the peak of Jackie Chan’s career, but it also could have been the end of it. During a seriously dramatic scene, Chan insisted that he was comfortable jumping 20 feet from a high castle wall into a nearby treetop. Chan missed the tree and fell 25 feet and cracked his skull open, putting him into a coma for a week. He ended up going back and retrying the stunt after he was fully healed.
