Thor: The Dark World
Jamie Alexander was tasked with doing her own stunts in this 2013 film. Although she was an experienced and trained stage actor who had formerly done her own stunts in theatrical performances, she had never worked on a stunt set before this movie. Unfortunately for her, she suffered a fall that fractured 11 of her vertebrae, and she didn’t even find out until three days after the accident. Alexander went to sit down in the back of a cab and she suddenly, painlessly, went paralyzed in her right arm and leg.
