Cher’s “Believe” served as a comeback track, and come back she did. She sold 11 million copies, introduced the world to autotune, and was the oldest female artist to ever reach this level of chart-topping success.
The Sex Pistols, God Save The Queen (1977)
There were 25,000 copies of God Save the Queen single pressed, and an estimated 10 remain after A&M ordered them all to be destroyed. The Six Pistols terrorized their label so badly that they were dropped six days after signing the record contract in a publicized ceremony in front of Buckingham Palace. This legendary punk record goes for $8,600.
