Apparently, Joaquin Phoenix earned the nickname "Cher" due to his diva-ish tendencies. The actor was blindsided with the footage during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "The constant whispering..." Phoenix can be seen saying. "Just shut the f*** up, dude. I'm trying to find something real." Phoenix was incredibly embarrassed opposite Kimmel. "That was supposed to be private," he commented.
