The “Wagon Queen Family Truckster,” or a heavily modified Ford LTD Country Squire, played a big role in the film. There was reportedly 5 total station wagons used in filming. In 2013 Mecum offered one of the film-used cars for $35k but it didnt sell. It then showed up on Hemmings with a $39,900 price tag.
