The Best and Worst of Stephen King

Dreamcatcher (2003)

This film – and the novel it’s based on – feel like a hallucination of incoherent ideas, thanks to King’s post-accident Oxycontin intake. This campy adaptation features a group of friends who discover extraterrestrial slugs in the woods. However, though the cast is somewhat A-list, the best performances come from the CGI alien.
