The More You Know

  • Anybody who eats boiled eggs knows the frustration of having one crack. Throwing a little vinegar into the boiling water will keep the egg whites from seeping out.
  • Instead of picking a hobby that you're already skilled at or one that's impossible to master, pick something you feel confident you can see major improvement with.
  • Throw a few ice cubes or a wet washcloth in the dryer with your wrinkled clothes. As the ice melts and the water turns to steam, it will remove the wrinkles. This trick isn’t as effective with heavier clothing but is a miracle for lighter fabrics.
  • If you have greasy fingerprints on your doorframes or walls, there's a simple fix. Just rub a piece of chalk gently over them, let it sit for 10 minutes, and the chalk will absorb the oil, allowing it to easily wipe away.
