Everyone loves an underdog, and no one was more of an underdog than the Chicago White Sox against strikeout leader Gerrit Cole. Walking into Tuesday’s game in Houston, Cole boasted 93 strikeouts in 60.2 innings this season.

Eloy Jimenez and Jose Abreu earned a few early home runs in the game, but the crowd was especially excited by what happened next. The White Sox got their first triple play since 2016.

Not only did the team make such an amazing play, but they also made an impressive comeback against Cole. They started the sixth inning with homer after homer. In the end, White Sox won in Houston for the first time since 2017.

After a triple play, a grand slam, and two home runs by Jimenez (only 24-games into his career), the White Sox took home a big win for Chicago.
