Glass Beach

Glass Beach is the well-known southern beach of MacKerricher State Park in Fort Bragg, California. The beach got its name when residents in Fort Bragg threw their household garbage over the cliffs and where it smoothed from the sand and ocean and thus became the Glass Beach. Visitors can find old household items along the beach, too, giving it a post-apocalyptic vibe.
