Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have been on the front end of entertainment news since they first announced their relationship ten months ago.
They just announced their engagement over the weekend. While a filmed and photographed proposal on the beach made rounds, many fans and gossip sites believe they actually got engaged or married months ago in Vegas. Coincidentally, Kardashian is filming for an upcoming Hulu reality show.
Outside of the timeline rumors, the official news is exciting for fans of Barker and Kardashian.
It's common knowledge that Barker has been afraid to fly since a tragic and deadly 2008 accident that he was involved in. Fans were more than shocked to see that he and Kardashian were out and about in other countries after she got him to fly on a plane (after months of road tripping around the US and Mexico via vehicles).
Barker helped design the engagement ring with celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. "It's a flawless, beautifully cut diamond stone," Schwartz told PEOPLE.
Kardashian has three children, Mason, 11, Penelope 9, and Reign, 6 with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Barker shares a stepdaughter, Atiana, 22, and two children, Landon, 17, and Alabama, 15 with ex-wife Shanna Moaklar.
