In lieu of the 150th anniversary of the first ever litter of golden retrievers being born. The gigantic group of dogs and their caretakers were gathered at Guisachan Estate in Tomich, Scotland, which is where the puppies were born!
This is likely the largest gathering of the breed, ever. The Golden Retriever Club of Scotland, who organized the event, said that this was the biggest ever turn out for the anniversary event. In 2016, they reached a new high of 222.

The exact number is 361. That is so many dogs, in just one small space. So many pets! The breed tends to look like one another, so I’d be very afraid of losing my dog.
Can there be more large gatherings of dogs? I’d like to go.
Why yes, we are celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary at the Golden Retriever Festival in Tomich, Scotland. #marriedliferocks #goldenretrievers #thisisreal @dogrates @_a12k pic.twitter.com/e7Yo6quadj
