Aristotle's Writings
Aristotle once wrote, “worms are found in long-lying snow, and snow of this description gets reddish in color, and the grub that is engendered in it is red, as might have been expected.” Obviously this sort of thing had happened at least once before, so many years ago, but what did it all mean? Why were there worms in the snow when worms couldn’t survive in the harsh conditions?
