This edition of Rolling Stone featured a red, white, and blue-clad Britney Spears posing in front of a torn American flag. This was released in 2000, right after Spears dropped her biggest song, Hit Me Baby One More Time. However, it wasn't much longer until Spears released Oops I Did It Again and shook up her own market once more.
