One Man Got Lost in the Parisian Catacombs and Never Returned, but Somehow His Video Camera Survived

Beginning the Expedition

The camera crew and Friedland struck out to search for the unidentified man. They started at a well-known access spot around the eastern outskirts of Paris proper. The crew waited until the area was unguarded and hopped a cement wall that was built to prevent people from being able to access the hidden tunnels. The team cut the lock on a manhole cover, lifted the 75-pound metal disk, and dropped into the dark unknown of the Parisian catacombs.
