Historic Site

In 1975, the stadium was declared a historic site by the state. In 1989, the hallowed grounds were also added to the list of National Register of Historic Places. In 2000, the Tigers moved from the stadium into Comerica Park. Despite being a historic site, the stadium was demolished in 2009.

The More You Know
