This movie almost escaped the public because it was released so close to the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. Eddie Murphey stars as Rudy Ray Moore, a standup comedian whose stage persona is named Dolomite. Dolomite ends up taking over the life of Rudy Ray Moore, who eventually made decisions simply to be able to keep playing the Dolomite character.
