Woman Transforms Cubicle into Snoopy’s Doghouse Inside Edition logo

A woman in Pennsylvania topped what she did last year when she won her office cubicle design. This year she won by transforming her cubicle into Snoopy’s doghouse. For the past few years the employees at Toll Brothers, Inc mortgage office in Horsham have participated in a cubicle decorating contest that takes place every December.

Last year Melissa O’Neill made her cubicle into a log cabin for the prestigious prize. This year, she hopes to top that design by making her cubicle into the signature doghouse of the famous comic strip canine Snoopy. Wayne, O’Neill’s boyfriend helped her in building the log cabin the in the basement of their home. It took him 2 weeks to complete the project.

“Wayne was pretty much against doing anything,” O’Neill said. “So about two weeks ago, everyone in the office kept asking what was being done this year. I went home and begged. We could not disappoint right?” Wayne eventually agreed to help her out in the dog house, which came complete with a stuffed Snoopy doll on the roof. The design was made with wood frames and cardboard and took a week to complete.

“Everyone at the office loves it! I put on a good poker face though telling everyone nothing was happening as of last week,” O’Neill said. “I honestly like the ‘wow factor’ and reaction I get from everyone.” Hopefully this design will be enough for O’Neill to bag the award for the second straight year.
