Over the weekend, Kim Kardashian West hosted a baby shower for her fourth child via surrogate with husband, Kanye West. Kim shared several shots from the laid-back event on her Instagram Story, revealing the CBD theme.
CBD, a plant-based cannabidiol, has been a recent trend due to its calming effects. At the shower, guests had the chance to create their own CBD-infused products at a “make your own CBD” station, where they were able to infuse bath salts and body oils with CBD. Snacks with CBD were also out on display like CBD donuts and a CBD chocolate fountain.
Kim’s sisters Kourtney and Khloe, along with quite a few of Kim’s famous friends. The festivities were organized by Mindy Weiss, a well-known party planner who is responsible for planning several other Kardashian-Jenner parties in the past.
Kim’s party theme derived from the notion that baby number four was a bit overwhelming and she, along with everyone in her circle, needed a bit of relaxation to prepare for a newborn.
