Rowland said it was a "beautiful moment" having Beyoncé and Michelle Williams on Zoom while she gave birth to her son, Noah, in January. "We had our family join on Zoom," Rowland said. "They were able to see Noah come into the world. It was beautiful." Other guests on the virtual celebration were Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, and her husband's mother. She said her former Destiny's Child co-members are "awesome" aunts and rushed to meet the newborn as soon as they could.
"The girls were literally over here at the house just recently and when they met the baby, it was like another part of my heart just ... being able to share space with Michelle and Bey is truly a gift," she continued. "And I'm just so grateful for them and they are a highlight of my life. Not professionally, but our friendship and our sisterhood — you're going to make me cry."
Rowland and her husband Tim Weatherspoon share son Titan Jewell, 6, as well. The singer also detailed the sweet moment her friends met the baby, calling their bond "really a gift, because we've known each other for so long and the industry doesn't really make friendships." She also said that her older son is dealing with being a big brother well, and tells her when he needs attention that she isn't giving him. "Yesterday, [Titan] dragged me down and was like, 'Mommy, I need you to look at me. I need you to see me,' which is what I tell him," Rowland said. "I was like, 'If ever Mommy is getting busy or something, you have to tell me. I want to give you everything that I can, but if I don't and you feel like you need something, you have to tell Mommy.'"
