Bob Barker may be 97-years-old and retired now, but back when he was younger, he was a shining star. Barker worked as a radio host while he was in college, and afterward, he moved to California. His first television appearance happened when he was 33 years old with the show Truth or Consequences, which ran from 1956 to 1972. As soon as that show ended, Barker took his role on The Price is Right.
