Although Jonze deserves due credit for shooting a seemingly random Fatboy Slim video in the first place, the freestyling Oscar-winner may have something to do with the 6 VMAs "Weapon of Choice" took home in 2001, as well as the Grammy for Best Music Video in 2002.
