“Runaway” is part of a longer film, but the music video is just as engaging on its own. West approaches a white piano in a tuxedo, playing the same haunting keys over and over again as a troupe of ballet dancers dressed in black begin to perform a gorgeous group number. It’s an artful vision and it definitely comes to fruition. The My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy era was possibly Kanye’s best.
