Iconic Music Videos That Defined The Past Few Decades

“Learn to Fly” by Foo Fighters (1999)

With the help of Tenacious D, “Learn to Fly” is a loose parody of Airplane! Two airline mechanics (Jack Black and Kyle Gass) stash a drug called “World Domination brand ‘Erotic’ Sleeping Powder” in the coffeemaker and accidentally end up intoxicating everyone who drinks the coffee. Dave Grohl plays an FBI agent who arrests them. All in all, “Learn to Fly” is a fun, upbeat masterpiece, and its Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video in 2000 was well-deserved.
