Iconic Music Videos That Defined The Past Few Decades

“Work It” by Missy Elliot (2002)

Featuring cameos from Timbaland, Eve and Halle Berry, and Alyson Stoner in her official debut, this tribute to Aaliyah and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes commemorated their recent deaths. The opening scene was indeed shot with live honey bees, but only one crew member was stung. Also, fun fact, the same crew member forgot to replace the glass of wine with a glass of water during the restaurant scene, so Elliott accidentally ended up getting drunk on set. “Work It” earned Video of the Year at the 2003 VMAs.
