Krispy Kreme Rings In Fall With a New Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Doughnut

With fall right around the corner, companies are eager to roll out new autumnal items on their menus. Krispy Kreme has announced that this year, they’ll be debuting a cheesecake-filled, pumpkin spice glazed doughnut. However, these delicious treats will only be available for a limited time.

The chain is also offering the “Pumpkin Spice Purchase Protection” plan. During the week, any pumpkin purchase made can be replaced if the customer is unhappy or unsatisfied with the taste. In a press release, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme Dave Skena said: “Bad pumpkin spice products shouldn’t happen to good people.”

Customers can purchase a pumpkin spice glazed doughnut with or without the delicious cheesecake filling. This offer is only here until September 8th but will return later in the fall for a longer period. Customers can also expect to see other pumpkin menu items, like their own take on the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

In an effort to compete with Starbucks and Dunkin’s upcoming fall product, the Krispy Kreme doughnut hopes to be a more classic and traditional take. “If you’ve been impacted by the proliferation of pumpkin spice products that don’t make sense,” said the press release, “come to Krispy Kreme and we’ll make it all better with a free pumpkin spice doughnut.”
