This is the last photo of the Korean Airlines flight that took off from New York. When the plane was in Soviet airspace, it was shot down. Thirteen bodies were found within the next week but were too damaged to identify. In 1991, Russian authorities claimed that the rest of the bodies were eaten by crabs when they found the wreckage.
